Mission 

Initiated by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the 1 Million Youth Actions Challenge (1MYAC) aims at mobilizing youth globally (between 10 and 30 years old) to implement concrete actions for a more sustainable future. The objective is to reach 1.000.000 youth actions.

Focus

1MYAC focuses on the following four United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) addressing key environemental issues worldwide: SDG 6 on clean water and sanitation, SDG 12 on responsible consumption and production, SDG 13 on climate action (climate change) and SDG 15 on 'life on land' (biodiversity).

Action-oriented

You can join the challenge and act with 1myac.com. Once registered, you can select voluntary standard actions for yourself or your group to commit to. You then have up to a year to accomplish the chosen challenge(s), share your progress with the 1MYAC community, and monitor and complete the action(s) on 1myac.com

Youth-driven

It is SDC's intention to involve youth groups and individuals of all kinds and from all over the world to make 1MYAC as inclusive and participative as possible - for the youth and by the youth.
