The result of long-standing cooperation between Solidarity Water Europe (SWE) and the Mayors of the Nirnova Basin, as well as the confidence and support of Moldovan national authorities and institutional partners¹, the “Nirnova Basin” Intercommunal Development Association (ADI) was officially registered on Monday September 25.

It represents the first form of intercommunality in Moldavia, and will be primarily responsible for water resource management. Its inaugural meeting will be held in November.
