From June 16 to June 20, 2017, the International Water Secretariat (SIE) held a youth workshop for water, which brought together 30 young people from Central Asia, as part of the Universal Exhibition 2017 in Astana. This workshop took place under the Swiss flag and enabled the youth of Central Asia to develop a regional perspective on water (Youth Vision), in preparation for the 4th General Assembly of the World Youth Parliament for Water (WYPW) that will take place in March 2018 in Brasilia. After a few days of consultations, the Central Asian Youth Vision was presented to the ministries of the five States concerned (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan).
